Sniper EFI 565-314K - HyperSpark Kit w/ 565-314 - Pontiac, for sniper 1 series

Our HyperSpark kits were designed to make upgrading your ignition on a Sniper 1 EFI equipped engine simple. When installed along with a Sniper 1 EFI system, the combination creates the easiest conversion to install on the market, with only four connections required. Our harness only requires one connection to a switched 12V, battery+, battery-, and fuel pump power. The pre-terminated connectors and a built-in 40A relay provide power to all of the components within the system. With the main harness included, you no longer need to run multiple wires to provide switched 12V for each individual component. Route the harness and pre-terminated connectors to your HyperSpark coil, distributor, and ignition box and plug them in. 

  • Plug and play main harness replaces the standard Sniper 1 EFI harness with battery+, battery-, switched 12V, and fuel pump power for a clean installation 
  • HyperSpark ignition coil delivers 135mJ of spark energy during engine combustion 
  • Single Hall Effect sensor provides noise-free RPM signal interference and precise timing control 
  • ECU timing control or non-timing control options (Additional harnesses may be needed, refer to installation manual) 
  • CNC billet aluminum distributor housing provides strength and protection 
  • CNC billet machined distributor shutter wheel delivering accurate cylinder timing and accuracy at high speeds 
  • Distributor shutter wheel is pinned and welded to the shaft for reliable accuracy 
  • Cast distributor gear construction 
  • Patented clear installation cap eliminating confusion and error during distributor install 
  • Integrated ignition coil bracket simplifies mounting the Ignition coil 
  • External LED on HyperSpark ignition box helps verify 12V, cranking RPM, and low battery voltage 
  • Wire retainer for securing spark plug wires 
  • Lucas Racing Performance Gear Break-In Lubricant for protection 
  • Includes distributor, ignition box (565-151), ignition coil (565-152), and harness (558-328)

  • This is a cast distributor gear, it is recommended to consult your camshaft manufacturer prior to installation to confirm what distributor gear material they require. When changing distributor gears, it is critical to measure the shaft diameter OD and gear ID, before installing the new gear on the shaft. Designed for Sniper 1 only, new installations will not use the Sniper 1 harness or coil driver as the new main harness retains the same lead color wires.
