Edelbrock Part # 2161 Performer 2-O intake manifold is designed for street 396-502 c.i.d. big-block Chevy V8's using general duty oval-port cylinder heads. Will not fit under the hood of Corvette without hood modifications. Will not fit "tall block" V8's. May be used with OEM or aftermarket carbs. Will fit 1965-90 oval port heads. Edelbrock's Patented Dual-plane, low-rise design with a 180-degree firing order greatly improves torque over a wide rpm range for excellent throttle response from off-idle through 5500rpm. This Performer intake manifold is ideal for passenger cars, trucks, 4x4s, tow vehicles and RVs.

- Carburetor pad height: 4.85"
- Carburetor recommendations: Stock 4-Bbl use choke rod # 9179 if needed, Edelbrock AVS2 or Performer Series 600-800cfm. Use bracket # 8031 for 1972-78.
- Camshaft Recommendations: Performer-Plus #2162
- Port exit dimensions: 1.70"w x 1.68"
- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
- Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
