Edelbrock Part # 7525 RPM Air-Gap dual-quad intake manifold is designed for 1955-86 S/B Chevys, this intake stands 1-5/8" taller than the low-profile C-26 intake and offers performance improvements in the 1500-6500 rpm range. The large runners feature our unique Air-Gap design that separates the runners from the hot engine valley for a cooler, denser charge. Will not fit under stock Corvette hood.

- Air gap cooler and denser mixture for more power
- 1.625 inch taller than low-profile #5425
- Best when matched with edelbrock 500cfm carburetors
- Use fuel line kit #8088/8091
- Use progressive throttle linkage kit #7094

- Camshaft Recommendations: Performer RPM #7102, #2201 and #2204
- Port exit dimensions: 1.16" x 1.92"
- Recommended intake gasket: Edelbrock #7201
- Use RTV sealant to properly seal end seals, such as Edelbrock High Temp Silicone sealant # 1076, DO NOT USE END SEALS GASKETS.
- Sealant must be used on intake bolt threads if the threads extend into lifter valley or coolant passage.
- NPT/Pipe thread fittings require the use of Teflon tape or paste on threads to ensure proper seal.
- DO NOT OVERTIGHTEN NPT/Pipe fittings, this may cause the aluminum to crack around the fitting boss. NPT/Pipe thread is a tapered thread.
- Hardened washers Must be used with intake bolts to ensure proper torque and prevent galling of the aluminum.
- H.E.I. will not fit
- Carb center-to-center distance: 6-7/16".
